    在海外中文教学中,成语既是探索中华文化的载体,又是识字和提高语言应用能力的有效途径。中国成语是中华文化的缩微景观、 智慧之花,它本身承载了极其丰富的文化信息。成语是人们长期以来习用的一种简洁而精辟的语言形式,其本身的内涵可以启示学生学习、处事、做人的道理。

    《中国成语描字帖》是专为海外儿童学习成语而设计,其创意来自于新意中文学校教学第一线经验,采用多样化的方法教中文是海外中文教学永远的课题,《中国成语描字帖》的形式别具一格。

    《中国成语描字帖》精选了成语200个,每个成语的学习内容包含中英文对照,汉语拼音注音,毛笔描字(大字)和先描后写(小字)

    《中国成语描字帖》全套六册,有简体版和繁体版 (繁体+注音符号, 简体+拼音, 英文解释三项并列),适合5岁以上的学生作为课外作业使用,也适合家长辅助孩子学成语时使用。

Chinese idioms are an integral part of overseas education in learning the Chinese language. It has become a powerful and useful medium in understanding and exploring Chinese culture, customs, and language. Not only does it help with the knowledge of Chinese words characters in general, but it also increases the ability to use the Chinese language with reference to cultural context. Chinese idioms contain rich cultural information in compact figurative phrases. Since long ago, they have been used throughout Chinese people's everyday lives as a simple yet accurate language style and expression. It’s deeper content contain a sum of meanings from myth, story, and historical fact, which develops and encourages the study of Chinese language in understanding and practicing cultural-based interaction and morals.

The Chinese Idioms Tracing Book is specifically intended for overseas students and developed with a targeted approach. The ideas and concepts of the book derive from New Concept Education’s fundamental teaching experience, in which our perspective of overseas language education is built upon a multi-strategy approach. Chinese Idiom Tracing Book is thus a unique and different blend of 200 carefully selected, culturally rich idioms, in combination with bilingual content and artistry. Every idiom includes English translations and explanations, Hanyu Pinyin (Standard Mandarin Romanization System), Calligraphy brush character tracing, and actual character writing.

There are six books in the set, in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, for students 5 years or older to be used in compliment with the classroom after school and at home as an activity with the parents. The goal is to encourage and increase children’s interest in learning the Chinese language through the useful tool of Chinese idioms.
