Rapid Calculation Class

This class is for students ages 5-12 only. This class teaches the internationally renowned "Shi-Feng-Shu Rapid Calculation". Rapid Calculation is a method of calculation relying on directly on the human brain. Revolutionizing the conventional four arithmetic operations employed for thousands of years, this method solves problems by working from the higher digits down, applying 26 mnemonic formulate summarizing the numerical "carrying" principles on which the method is based.

The basic features of Shi Fengshou Rapid Calculation are as follows:
- Begins from the higher digits, proceed from left to right.
- Employs no calculation devices.
- Follows no fixed procedure.
- Provides the correct answer directly upon seeing the problem.
- Can be applied to problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, roots, trigonometric functions, logarithms, and so forth.

1) Summer Classes: Every Monday, Wednesday 3:00-4:00pm starting on 6/16/03

2) After-school Classes: Every Tuesday or Wednesday 4:15-5:15pm. Location: Building D, 1095 Dunford Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94087.

3) Saturday Classes: 11:00am-12:00pm. Starts every year on the 3rd Saturday of September.
